CARIBBEAN YACHT RACING EVENTS |
Caribbean yacht racing is on the agenda too, a full tour of the regatta season starts January 2010 in Grenada. If there’s one regatta you’d really like to experience don’t miss the Port Louis Grenada sailing festival, we are including accommodation ashore for 7 nights, couple that with fabulous sailing and the best hospitality, you can’t go wrong! In March we invite you to experience St Maarten Hieneken Cup, where serious yacht racing folk get pretty mean between the cans and party just as hard for a week. BVI sailing festival mirrors much of the laid back atmosphere of Grenada, stunning stay at the Bitter End yacht club and a brilliant time in Tortola await! Bequia Easter regatta follows a similar vein of brilliant entertainment and fun on the water with a mix of local hand built craft to add that extra local ingredient. Antigua race week needs no introduction, the most established and well attended by the international racing fraternity in the Caribbean, if you haven’t experienced Antigua week then this is one of those ‘things to do!’ on the yachties list that should be crossed off!
