JP Morgan Asset Round The Island Race 2011

The Round the Island Race is one of the World's oldest and largest yacht races with usually over 1700 participating each year.

Items included for the Race: Use of Wet Weather Gear, In2sail Round the Island Race shirt, caps and goodies to keep, food on board (breakfast, lunch and a hearty dinner). In a nutshell we are going to have a really good time on the water and ashore!!

Accommodation is on board as standard, however, we are organising for those who wish to sleep in a proper bed the option of quality accommodation in Cowes, although there is an additional charge this would be no more than an extra £100 from Friday to Sunday morning.

Day One.

Arrival 09:00. We will muster on Friday morning for those sailing on the yachts this will be at East Cowes Marina & Cowes Yacht haven, Isle of Wight. A full day of training and race tactics will take place with breakfast, lunch being served on board.

Day Two. 

Round the Island Race commences. The Race start will be early so hopefully a good nights sleep without too much pre race celebrations will be rewarded!

Evening post race, prize giving and champagne!! Partying in Cowes.

Day Three.

A good breakfast and for the yachts returning from the mainland a gentle sail back recover from the previous days' exertions.
